More than forty UNC Charlotte political science students are participating in a service learning project in conjunction with Democracy North Carolina in an effort to involve students in non-partisan efforts to mobilize voters. Their goal is to inspire and encourage students to vote.
Assistant Professor of Political Science, Martha Kropf’s students have participated in door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and on-campus efforts informing voters about same day registration and early voting at UNC Charlotte. North Carolina is a state that offers same day voter registration.
The final campus mobilization effort will take pace Monday, Oct. 27.
